Transforming marginalized communities through 15 years of humanitarian and development expertise.
The institutional landscape of the Somali humanitarian sector is defined by a complex interplay between local legitimacy and international standards. Established on October 15, 2010, ASEN emerged as a response to the exclusion faced by minority clans and marginalized groups.
From our headquarters in the Xudur District, Bakool Region, we have transitioned from a reactive humanitarian provider to a proactive agent of sustainable development, ensuring that ethnicity, gender, or status do not dictate an individual’s ability to thrive.
